Unless you hate music in general, you'll love these two albums. This package is a bargain, since these cds cost $30 a piece here in the U.S. if you buy them at a music store. If you haven't heard much of Within Temptation, just go to youtube and check out their great videos. These guys are amazing composers. They combine hard rock, metal, classical, choirs, and opera style vocals to bombard your senses with what can be described as an audio orgy. They stack layer after layer of melodies using violins, trumpets, choirs, flutes, harps, and ofcourse guitars. Their singer, Sharon Den Adel, is a freak of nature. The vocal range she posseses violates the known laws of the natural world. Both these albums are amazing, and I cannot recommend them enough. What's more amazing is that Within Temptation isn't the biggest musical act in the world yet.

I enjoyed both CD's greatly. I had never heard of them before but when my friend played one of their songs, Forsaked, I loved it. I went out and bought the only album I could find of theirs, Heart of Everything. Loved it too, but had to buy these two albums too. It was a great bargin to get both for a low price. I listen to them all the time. I can't wait for their next album. I love their intensity on their songs. Sharon has a beautiful voice. She can sing with power on their intense songs or softly on the gentle songs. Caged, See Who I Am and jillian are my favs songs but the rest are very good too. Give them a listen and see what the fuss about with this Dutch band.

I love just about every song on both these CD's, but the Mother Earth CD will not play in my car CD player or anywhere else but on my computer. I was very disappointed in this as I got them in the mail right as I was leaving to go out of town (driving) but then I couldn't listen to it because every time I'd put it in the CD player it would tell me it was a CD Rom. So I finally had to pull the songs on my computer and burn them to a blank CD. That's an awful lot of work, but the music is so fantastic it was worth it.
