- An underappreciated sonic genius
I remember the first time I listened to Torch Song's records, and being completely hypnotized with the production and Laurie Mayer's haunting vocals. Orbit since then has been a favorite of many artists for production and remix work. He did some fantastic music for Joe Frank In The Dark. With this trio he creates a number of electro-chillout / spark-wired atmospheres. A lot of this could easily double as an alternate Blade Runner-type soundtrack. Highly recommended.
