- Splendid Mix

The remix by Ferry Corsten, Is simply captivating to listen everytime. Ihe music ligers in your mind after you listen to it. I strongly love the remix rather than the original mix on my LP single. Never the less, I love both mix.A classical song in modern mix-up.Great!!!

- William Orbit - Ravel's Pavane Pour Une Infante Défunte

Maurice Ravel's quiet and sad PAVANE POUR UNE INFANTE DEFUNTE (an Infante being a Spanish queen and not a child) is electronified by William Orbit, who gives it a slight trip-hop beat with his single version, but keeps it beatless on the album version. Both versions translate Ravel's original vision quite ably. Ferry Corsten tries to make the track a little more dancefloor-friendly, but the melody comes out a little to high-pitched and squelchy to come across as anything except an okay trance track with a semi-classical tune.

- Enchanting

Forget William Orbit. Ferry Corsten's remix of Ravel's Pavane is enchanting...... Ravel has never sounded so beautiful before.

- Another excellent performance

Since I heard his very first album, I find myself drawn to anything that Orbit does. Simple a pleasurable listening experience. Mr. Orbit, please don't stop.
