- Good songs, but not as advertised

This is NOT Waylon's classic 1972 album "Ladies Love Outlaws". Although this isn't even billed as a 'greatest hits' collection the songs in this disc are from various albums from 1972 to 1982. There doesn't appear to be a good reason for this album to exist, except maybe to make the record label (BMG) a few bucks. Still, there are some great songs here, such as "Waltz Across Texas"; some of these can't be found elsewhere. Hopefully, Buddha records (which has recently rereleased some of Waylon's best albums) will get around to putting the original "Ladies Love Outlaws" out on CD as well as others like "Lonesome, Onry, and Mean".

- Disappointment

I used to own a Waylon album titled Ladies Love Outlaws. Perhaps not his best effort, but still memorable. About thirty years ago a girl I used to know borrowed it from me and I haven't seen it since. I have been thinking about searching for it on the Internet and was pleased when I found the title on Amazon. The disappointment was equally strong when I found out that this was not the Ladies Love Outlaws album. How can someone be so ignorant as to release an album that has nothing to do with the original title? Still there is hope. I have managed to get a recording of the LP. The sound is bad but I hope to be able to clean it using the Steinberg WaveLab and Clean software.

- Great songs, great entertainer

I like all the songs on this album, but purchased this one because of Waylon's version of the Jimmy Buffett song, "He Went To Paris".

- All American Country

I bought this particular Waylon Jennings for the song made famous in the movie The Executioner's Song (Good Ol' Boys), and also because it's the first track on the cd. It turns out the actual title of the cd is All American Country, not Ladies Love Outlaws. And it's indeed a really nice compilation of "country". I like it a lot.
