Review - Product Description
Waylon and Willie were Country music's 'outlaws'. Their music, attitude and originality turned the Country industry around, which is why we now look at them as 'heroes'. This 20 track collection features cuts recorded by the duo and solo tracks from each including 'Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way?', 'My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys', 'Night Life', 'Ladies Love Outlaws' and many more. Sony/BMG. 2007.

- HEROES- A Top Notch Album featuring two TRUE legends

Well, this album is a perfect sampler of Jennings' work. Willie Nelson has fewer tracks on this album, as it contains mostly Willie/Waylon duets and Waylon numbers.

Such Gems as "Honky Tonk Heroes", "Lonesome On'ry and Mean" and "Ladies Love Outlaws" show that Ol' Waylon is the TRUE LEGEND OF COUNTRY.

Most Waylon and Willie albums (Compilation ones) contain more of Willie's work, whereas this one shows off Waylon, which is great. Waylon is, I feel, the better of the two artists.

Worth buying just for the CLASSIC Waylon tracks !

- Some of the best there is

there's nothing like these 2. Love Waylon's voice and sure enjoy when he and Willie team up. Really enjoy most of the songs. Found this album while looking for some music by Waylon and am glad I got it.

- Really GOOD Country & Western Music

If you are looking for a exceptionally good Waylon & Willie CD, this is surely the one you MUST HAVE. It contains all the music that made me love them in the late 70's & 80's. The original "Outlaws" of Country Music. Not one singer, or any singers, can create the mood or the sound of that particular era the way they captured it. Their unique sound brought this music back into the lime light. It just gets better evey time I listen to it. So... "Momma's, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys..."
