Let me start out by saying, that I too, love Vince Gill! Vince has always been a favorite of mine, in fact one of my most favorite Country Artists! He is the voice, of what TRUE Country Music is today! Because of this fact, I have purchased nearly EVERY album that this exceptional performer has ever issued! Imagine my anticipation to find that there was now, a NEW Vince Gill album, thus called "Love Songs"! Imagine my disapointment only to find that this is merely a "re-hashed", slapped-together compilation of songs, already issued from other albums! (For the record: you have 1 song each from "I Still Believe In You", "The Key", & "Pocket Full Of Gold", 2 songs each from "When Love Finds You", & "High Lonesome Sound", 3 songs from the massive box, "These Days" (2 from disc 2, 1 from disc 3), and 4 songs (4???) to probably make you discover what is perhaps his most "overlooked" album, "Let's Make Sure We Kiss Goodbye") LOVE SONGS???...it seems like every performer who is not putting out new music, re-assembles some previous tunes, and calls it "Love Songs"! (Clint Black, Trisha Yearwood, come to mind) Sorry....until a Brand new batch of tunes come out of the gate, this to me will always be "Souvenirs, Vol.2"!! The demand is there, the fan base is extremely loyal, and there's no doubting the talent is exceptional! C'mon Vince---play us some NEW TUNES!!!!

Amazing collection of all my favorite Vince Gill songs. I like it even more knowing that it Vince picked all the songs and put them in order. Can't wait to put this on for Valentine's Day. I got an extra copy to give to my wife so we don't have to share!

Vince Gill should be called "The Voice" of Country Music! This collection is geared towards the softer love songs and ballads that made Vince famous. This CD is the perfect gift as an introduction to Vince for the newcomer or longtime fan. This gift is even greater around the upcomong Valentines Day. "Love Songs" covers a decade and a half of vocal perfection! It is a must have for any Country Music, music or just plain ol' Vince Gill fan.

Vince has a voice so smooth and calming that I just could not resist this set. I could sit and listen to his soothing voice foreven if I did not have so much to do. He is also from Oklahoma so he has to be great.

VINCE GILL HIT A HOME RUN WITH THIS ONE! WHEN MY WIFE HEARD THIS ALBUM WE FELL IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN. THE LYRICS OF THE INDIVIDUAL SONGS MUST HAVE BEEN HEART FELT WHEN HE AND OTHERS WROTE THEM.
