- The silence is broken and the truth is revealed!

Type O Break a 3 year silence and unleash this long archived 1999 Bizzare fest concert. Many Type O fans have had this concert bootlegged for years, but none have had it in the amazing quality and presentation. I won't bother you with what they did play, but it was a set consisting of classics, however, due to copyrights and clearances, "Back In the USSR" and the "Day Tripper" medley were cut from this release, kinda stinks because they vow to never play the beatles medley live, the one time they do and they can't get the rights to include it. The concert features Behind the scenes footage during the concert, which is really funny, I think this if any will finally shed some light on the band's sense of humor which most fans seem to not even notice in the intense serious-ness of their music. The DVD also features an Interview with Juliya(formerly of Fuse TV) in which the band sit down to discuss the DVD, which kind of doesn't make sense, as well as discuss what really happened with Peter to bring upon the near 3 year silence, and it wasn't "Heart Problems" or a back Injury! The disc also includes a tasteful slideshow of pics of Type O from Chilhood through their teen years that goes by pretty fast and is kind of funny too see. Pretty good and well worth it for any major Type O Fan and might be well enjoyed by the casual fan as well, I'm giving this a 4.5.

- More ToN, please!!!!

I am a die-hard ToN fan, and if they pooped and sold it in a box I would most likely purchase it. Therefore, my review is somewhat biased in their favour.

Theconcert footage was great, a real treat after such a long break from releases. However, the bald midget-man disgusted me (possibly because he reminded me of my ex-husband), and the interludes between the concert seemed unnecessary. It left me wishing they had given the option of a concert only track so I could exclude the distractions from the music.

Fans will love this release however, and new-comers may also find it intriguimg. The glimpse of their life on the raod is interesting, amusing, and repulsive all at once. The live footage alone is worth the investment, and the Santana medley is a great addition to any ToN lover's collection.

Were I not totally enamoured with the band, I would probably have given a 4 star rating due to the stupid bald-man's intrusion on the other-wise "not so negative" world of Type O Negative. However, definitely pick this one up if you like ToN. You won't be disappointed!

- Type O Negative wins a new fan

I'm typically a rock and blues girl. I bought this DVD as a fluke for a good laugh. The joke was on me. Putting aside the backstage footage (which old fans will love), this band can deliver. The live concert footage is riveting and the interview is a great way to see the guys as individuals. I also got a kick out of the bonus cd with the Santana medley. So, even if you are not a fan but just love music, check it out. You'll get your money's worth.

- Symphony For The Devil

Great songs, i love all the songs Type O Negative played live on this DVD. Great quality and sound. However, i really didn't like the bits of the band on the road stuck in between the actual concert (didn't work well for NIN on their Closure vhs). All in all, the concert was great except for those clips of the band behind stage after every 2 songs. Keep rocking Pete and Co!

- Definetly Worth it

See, people keep complaining that theres clips inbetween the actual concert, so yes I was hesitent on running out and getting it. I've listened to Type-O since the Slow,Deep and Hard days so I was going to buy it either way. In my opinion, it doesnt really matter, nor is it annoying or acts of "childish mischief" as one said, it just simply shows their road life. The concert was awsome, the clips inbetween the concert dont ruin it at all, the extra stuff on it kick ass,the cd may be a little short, but hey, any new TON is worth it, no matter how short.

All in all, the whole DVD is well worth it, no complaints from me. I'm out
