The import Everything Dies CD-Single is a must-have for any hard core Type O Negative Fan. You get the radio edit and album version of Everything Dies, the Everything Dies music video (which will never see the light of day on MTV), plus 12 Black Rainbows (which was cut from World Coming Down to make way for the Beatles medley). The video plays great full-screen at 800x600. 12 Black Rainbows is a good straight-ahead rocker in the Black Sabbath tradition.
THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY TYPE O NEGATIVE FAN. MAINLY BECAUSE OF "12 BLACK RAINBOWS" THIS IS THE ONLY CD WITH THAT SONG ON IT. AND YOU GET THE VIDEO FOR "EVERYTHING DIES" WHICH STACKS UP TO EVERYTHING TYPE O DOES. THEY CAN DO NO WRONG. BUY THIS CD, IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY EVEN IF IT ONLY HAD "12 BLACK RAINBOWS" ON IT.
Nothing more to say but......TYPE O NEGATIVE RULES
Get this single, worth it for the video that is on here as well. never was played on MTv at all. Peter is hot too.
This single, while only containing three songs, is well worth the money. The radio edit of the title track isn't very edited, the only change was the removal of the intro and outro, which didn't fit into the song very well to begin with, and the removal of a few repeated riffs. For the purists, though, the single also contains the entire LP version, so worry not. The second track is the true gem of the CD, though. "12 Black Rainbows" is a new song from the band, and is quite enjoyable, though one wishes that they had given the lyrics. The fourth track of the CD isn't actually a song, it's the video for the title track. It's a very interesting video, to say the least. Overall, this would be a good item for a Type O Negative fan, or as a starting point for one who is merely curious about the band.
Though depressive agression dies in a sliver of hope, Type O Negative highly defines Death with This Release. As a long time listener of ToN, I strongly advise all to purchase.
