For those of you who own "The Man Who" the latest full-length release from Scottish band Travis, I don't really need to say anymore. For those of you who don't own it, what are you waiting for? This is absolutely one of the best albums released this year. Amidst the teenybop artists and crude white rappers/heavy metal stars, this band shines like a ray of hope. This single features "Baby One More Time" made popular by Britney of course, but Travis turn it into something both touching and humorous, acoustically stripped down. It also features a wonderful cover of a Joni Mitchell song, "River". These two bonus songs plus one more make this single a must have for Travis fans and a good introduction for people who want something new and good recalling such great bands as Radiohead, The Verve, Remy Zero, and former Scottish band, The Silencers (one of my faves)!!

This is probably the best single I have ever bought. The song "Turn" is amazing and can be found on their album "The Man Who" along with the B-side "Why Does It Always Rain On Me?" However what makes this a good purchase is the third song which they covered Britney Spears, "Hit Me Baby One More Time" The way Fran Healy sings this with such passion is the way the song should be sung. It is amazing. Buy this single and enjoy it.

I LOVE the song "why does it always rain on me?" but I detest the drunken (literally) screaching that is "Baby One More Time" and so I would recommend buying the full Travis album The Man Who. The entire The Man Who album is quite good and worth the extra money, if only to avoid the other song on this single.
