1987's Collection was revamped with new artwork and reissued by Castle in 1998. It's a solid single-disc overview of Tangerine Dream's early years, before the move to Virgin which produced their most seminal work; since this wasn't Tangerine Dream's most creatively fertile period, it's a nice alternative to the two-disc Analogue Years '69-'73, which covers similar ground in more detail but may be too much for more casual fans. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
