Análisis
In 1999, Sony in the U.K. released Tammy Wynette's first and third albums: 1967's Your Good Girl's Gonna Go Bad and 1968's D-I-V-O-R-C-E. Although it skips her second album, 1968's Take Me to Your World/I Don't Wanna Play House, and is presented in reverse chronological order and has no annotation outside of full reproductions of both LPs' front and back covers and track listings, this is still a welcome addition to Wynette's CD catalog because both records are uniformly excellent, two of the best country records of the '60s that showcase both Tammy and producer Billy Sherrill at their very best; country albums often have filler, but neither of these do. It's also valuable because, while Epic/Legacy's reissue of Your Good Girl's Gonna Go Bad stayed in print, Koch's CD issue of D-I-V-O-R-C-E disappeared quickly, making this essential for serious country collections (although this also went out of print quickly, it's a good way to easily get these two classic albums). ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
