Chicago's Soil burst onto the scene in 1998 with their indie release El Chupacabra. The band then signed with the now defunct MIA records, who only pressed up a couple thousand copies of the band's album Throttle Junkies. After releasing Scars in 2001 on J Records, Re.de.fine in 2004 and True Self in 2006 - all to greater and great acclaim - the time is now right to reissue Throttle Junkies with three bonus tracks including the hit 'Black Betty'. Soil has sold over 380,000 albums in the United States and has had two Top 15 singles at Active Rock radio.

- My 3rd SOiL album

To start off with I purchased this CD from 'dixonmusic'. I cannot find where to add my feedback for this item so i'll add it here. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this seller!! The transasction went smoothly, I ordrered the CD around a week and half ago and it arrived today 05.07.04, packages well and without broken jewel case!! Quality!!

I'm from the UK and haven't seen this album in any stores here. Having searched Amazon.com I came across a mint, unopened copy, which I just had to have!

If you're a SOiL fan then this is one to add to the collection. If you're new to the band then you can`t go wrong with this album either!!

- Hard rock at its finest

I just bought the album and i have to say I am highly impressed with this group. I have followed the underground scene for a while and i have to say that this album is the best new music I have heard in years. Hard rock at its finest.

- The Rerelease Is Awesome

I am so happy they rereleased this CD. The bonus tracks are awesome. The cover of Black Betty is awesome. One of my favorite covers ever. Definitely worth the pickup.

Though they have had some lineup changes,this band puts out some solid hard rock.Throttle Junkies is a very good album.If you like Drowning pool,Disturbed and bands of this calibur,you'll like Soil.Comeon,get some dirt in your ears
