If you want a clue as to what the fuss surrounding the beloved Argentine trio was all about or just need a concentrated dose of Soda to bring on a trip, this compilation is for you. Otherwise, I can see no reason for a fan to own this rather skimpy collection. Yes, all the studio albums are represented on Me Veras Volver but if you want to go the compilation route, you're better served by Chau Soda (Sony-1997), a 2 CD set that digs a little deeper, thus giving a better idea of what the band was like. However, it does not include any tracks from Soda's brilliant swan song Sueño Stereo (BMG-1995)--points for Me Veras Volver in that regard--but if you dig this band you should own Dynamo (Sony-1993) and Sueño Stereo on their own, anyway.

Soda Stereo is simply de best latin rock band in the history of mankind, they are truly legends, any fan would like this compilation of hits, I went to see them on Panama City, reunited after 10 years of being appart, they do the best thing any legendary band could do, come back and gave their fans what they want, their awesome songs, the ones that made them famous, just like Deep purple did... why do they need to make new songs? The whole songs they make are simply outstanding, as Jerry Seinfield said, when a thing is good, it's better to leave it like that... They come back to give one of the best concerts I've been to, the best one actually, any real fan would appreciate "Me veras volver" and would bring back great memories from that godlike concert.... "GRACIAS TOTALES"

Un disco excelente sin dudas uno de los mejores cd de soda que escuché, además es bastante difícil de conseguir. No pueden quedarse sin él.

these guys reunited after what seemed to be an official split and goodbye tour 8 years ago and now... ... now what? They re back for easy money without much effort on their part.

NOT A SINGLE NEW SONG WRITTEN FOR THIS TOUR / ALBUM, just old overplayed tracks from the 80s/early 90s ... give me a break Soda, you can do much better than that. And no, I am not going to see your show, I rather live with my decade old memories than hearing a bunch of aging, yet talented rock stars that come back for easy money and bring nothing new to their fans.
