- great collection with a few problems

this is a very comprehensive and rather complete single disc collection of smokey robinson and the miracles. my only gripe is that Tears Of A Clown is pitch shifted up a tiny bit (yet the tempo is normal). Also, the drum track is a little different. Still original sounding so it must have been another take used along side the original tracks that we all have come to know. Same for Ooh Baby Baby. The song is the same except for the possible use of a "take 2" drum track. this "improvements" boggle my mind. how can you mess with perfection like that and to not even mention it on the cd cover just makes record companies look ever more shady and not able to understand what they are putting out there. it clouds up the market with different versions (most originals are the superior). There may be other subtle differences in other songs. I would suggest getting the Ultimate collection instead. and why this is selling used for $150.00 is just insane.

- badly reproduced cd

I spent a lot for what I expected to be a high quality CD and man was I disappointed. Some songs seem to play faster than normal - just a little. It has a tinny quality - not enough bass. And they cut the end off of too many songs on the tracks - like radio does. This is terrible for the price. I would recommend no one buy this. I'm tossing it and buying a cheaper version.
