It would be easy to grow cynically weary of the Selena product that still floods that market more than a decade after her horrific death. There are only so many remixes, reworkings and rare tracks that can be mined for full-length projects. Through the Years recycles expectedly familiar, if still stellar, material: cumbias "No Debes Jugar," "La Llamada" and the still-poignant "Fotos y Recuerdos." The eternal "Dreaming of You" still sparkles with pop wistfulness. But there's always one small gem amid the familiar grooves. This time, it's a modest take on pop chestnut "Feelings," crooned by a pre-teen, impossibly cute Selena. It's a heartbreaking remembrance of a talent extinguished long before its time. Bonus: The accompanying DVD includes rare TV performances of Selena's biggest hits and also serves as a look at her unique sense of style. She positively soars onstage. --Joey Guerra
