Wonderful album! I would rate it to be the second best album after "Made in the shade". Some of the songs are same on both albums but I would not say they are repeats, rather they are done in a different style on each album, songs that have been revisited after 17 years on the other album. The sound quality is fuller being and analog recording and is very appealing as the instrumentatation is more on minimalistic side. Gypsy style or as some have come to know it as acoustic style.
Her voice and her singing on this album is as relaxed as it was on the album "Made in the shade, I guess her tenure with Chesky was more forced and devoid of real emotions but when she was and is free from the contract with Vhesky she really comes on her own.
I am glad I discovered this album and it is worthy addition to my collection. Sara K fans must have it! If you like down to earth music sung from the heart and soul you should give it a try, you wont regret it.
Five (well deserved) stars!
