- Ceremony is a winner!

There is a lot of buzz about this album in the fan newsgroups - and well deserved. If your typical exposure to Santana is on the radio, then you are going to hear a whole lot of new material. If you are a fanatic, then you've maybe heard some of this before.

- Very good

With all the hype that this CD is a limited edition, does not take away the fact that this indeed is a very good disc especially after the weak Shaman. The re-mixes are well done & Carlos scores really high & each track stands seperately from the other. At just under 55mins & 11 tracks, this is definately worth buying.

- Podias hacer mejor, Carlos

I think we all feel pretty much the same about Santana. They are brilliant, and he is a legend. He's one of those few guitar players we will recognize from 2 notes. Well, we also know pretty much the same about MOST Santana albums. The jams are fantastic, and once in a while he gets an absolute CLASSIC in there (e.g., "Evil Ways," "Oye Como Va," "Black Magic Woman," even "Smooth"), but they are hardly consistent. Well, THAT'S THE CASE HERE, folks. I really like the first track, and tracks 8, 10-12 are good material. You just might want to watch out for the rest of it. The mix of "Smooth" here was horrible, and Carlos is lucky he didn't put it out instead of the single that was the big hit. The general quality of the remainder isn't as bad as that, but certainly not his standard quality. You might want to use your MP3 option to get the few songs you are certain you like. At least Carlos chose the right option for this: Put it on a rarities album!

- Reccommended by friends and artists alike!

This album was bought for a poet friend of mine - you can buy his book on Amazon (Surfing the Soul)

He loves this album and so do I!

We both especially love the song Curación (Sunlight on Water). My friend is a Santa Cruz poet surfer with excellent musical taste - this entire album touches the soul!
