Review - Amazon.com
On 1997's Labor of Love, the Louisiana-born, milky-voiced singer took his biggest step yet away from rugged traditionalism and toward civil contemporary country. He was rewarded with a gold record that reached country's top 5 and even pop's top 50. With 1999's Maybe Not Tonight, he continues to move in the direction of platinum polish. The honky-tonk quotient is down to just one--the ridiculously trite "Louisiana Hot Sauce"--as Kershaw focuses his attention on genteel ballads that are sung mostly with sincerity and care, although indifference does crop up at times. However, when the remake of "More Than I Can Say," a hit for both Bobby Vee and Leo Sayer, ranks among the better material, that tells you what you need to know. --Marc Greilsamer

- Sammy's Best!

Maybe Not Tonight is Sammy's best yet! From the bittersweet Maybe Not Tonight to the smooth and sultry innuendoes of the upbeat Louisiana Hot Sauce, this CD is one of my Sammy faves! The ballads are beautifully written, bringing out the tender twang of Sammy's voice that is famous for making women's hearts flutter -- "Ouch!" "How Can I Say No" to putting this CD on 'continuous!' Enjoy!!

- ONE WORD: BORING!!!!!!!

I can't believe country music has come to this! All the songs are the same except for maybe two. Do not buy this cd! I feel like I got robbed.

- AWESOME!

Sammy Kershaw makes me swoon! His songs touch my heart, and that smile... Every song is great...He and Lorrie Morgan are wonderful together. "Love Me, Loving You" will be the first song I dance with my husband to when we get married in June. Sammy's done it again...
