My very favorite singer of any kind of music is George Jones. And this album will remind people of the type of songs George would sing; not to mention that Sammy's voice is strikingly similar on this album to George's. In fact, I know many people who were fooled. This is EXCELLENT!!!!

This album has some of the best George Jones-style "cry in your beer" traditional country ballads you'll ever hear, & the vocal similarity to the country legend is uncanny. For variety, he also adds the excellent uptempo tunes, "Cadillac Style" & the title track. It's impossible to even pick out the highlights. They're all excellent.

I saw Sammy, smilin' through his sweat, on a Country Network Concert, and bought this CD as a result...it's one of 4 Country CD's I own.

This CD was a replacement of the one I bought in 93. The 1st one met with an accident :(
