Samantha Mumba debuted at #2 on the British singles chart with "Gotta Tell You" a couple of weeks ago. For awhile she had the #1 and then "The Real Slim Shady" sold more copies. Anyway Samantha will fit in quite well amongst the crop of teen pop princesses that have overwhelmed the market. I haven't heard anything from her besides "Gotta Tell You," though, so we'll have to see if she makes it in America. But this is a great song.
Im Gonna Keep It Simple.... This Song Is Thight It Has Cathy Lyrics With A Great Beat....
1. Gotta Tell You (3:20) A Great Pop Song That Will Keep You Singing It's CHORUS....
2. Gotta Tell You - Mindchime Dub (5:07) A Great Remix But It's Just Music, Theres No Singing, All It Say's For A While Is THERE'S NOTHING WRONG, That's Why I Gave It 4 Stars Only....
When I was in Ireland a couple of months ago, I was watching their video music countdown and this song was #1 for weeks. The tune stayed in my head all the time. When I returned to the states I was still humming the tune my friends like the tune I was humming. Now 3 months later it has reached our countdown in Florida. I get a nostalgic feeling when I hear her voice. Great song.
I find myself listening to this song repeatedly. Great sounding beat and lyrics that stay in your head. I'm sure Samantha Mumba will be a big name in America.
This song rocks, as I'm sure many of you know. It's a little overplayed on radio stations, but that does not make it a bad song. It was written really well and Samantha Mumba has an awesome voice. I think it's cool how she does the low "more mature" sound and then just goes into her regular singing voice. It shows exquisite talent and a good range for someone so young. I definitely think that if Samantha has more songs like Gotta Tell You, she'll be a major star.
