- Pure Sade, but terrible as far as remixes go.

I am a diehard Sade fan & was ECSTATIC to have found this rare import. Unfortunately, the remixing is HORRIBLE! If you want to listen to Sade, listen to her regular albums because this CD is like listening to her while another (boring) radio station is playing simultaneously. Definitely not worth the high price & definitely a plug for self-remixing! Sade is still #1, but this CD is not!

- Decent BUT OVERPRICED import!

This 5 track CD is a nice addition to any Sade collection. The main problem that I have is the number of tracks! Only 5 songs! This doesn't represent anything 'deluxe' to me because Sade has so many great songs. The bright spot among the so-so remixes is the rare track 'Make Some Room', which is mainly a tight instrumental with Sade ocassionally adding a few vocals! My suggestion is to get someone to burn a CD copy for you, or visit an auction site like Ebay to bid on an affordable copy!

- Definitely a fan record

I recently bought this EP off of Ebay for a more affordable price and it was worth it. Of course I'm a rabid Sade fan and I wouldn't recommend this to casual fans or people who only listen to her on the radio. Here's the good stuff: I love all 3 of the remixes. "Feel No Pain" gets a "Bonita Applebum" treatment and sounds like a mixture of slow funk and ambient trip hop. "Love Is Stronger Than Pride" builds on the island feel of the original and has added vocals by a Jamaican choir. You might remember that Sade used this mix on her 1993 Love Deluxe tour. The "Paradise" Ronin remix was also used on that same tour and is the funkiest I've heard Sade. Really, really good! There are also two rare b-sides from the "Stronger Than Pride" album- "Make Some Room" and "Super Bien Total". Both sound like they would have fit perfectly on the album. Here's the gripe, it's too short. There are so many other remixes that could have been included. Where's the Somalia mix of "Pearls" or the Ronin remix of "Cherish the Day"? Other b-sides like "Room 55" (from Love Deluxe), "Should I Love You?", Love Affair With Life", and "Spirit" (all from Diamond Life) would have been welcomed additions as well. Anyway, if you're a diehard Sade fan, get this off of Ebay. It's so worth it.
