-Message to Sade, a real hilarious look at Sade fans directed by the Polish Brothers. Sade should come out more often. These people are NUTS! It's a great piece to have on a DVD because it shows how Sade affects her fans & how sincere her fans are.

-B&W photographs, I wish there were more! They should have made a music video with these stills.

-King of Sorrow Video, sexy-sexy-sexy. The best Sade video from Sophie Muller. This alone is worth the DVD.

SADE LOVERS LIVE is a truly a wonderful DVD, Sade embraces her fans and delivers a concert of honesty and respect.

I have been a devoted fan of Sade and her band since they first entered the scene in 1985. Her music has always been a romantic inspiration of the way love should be. In 1994 I had the pleasure of seeing her live for the first time. It was truly a mesmerizing experience. Enter 2001. Her first tour in seven years in support of an amazing CD. Even after the hiatus, Sade proved to me not only once in concert, but twice that she is not only as great as she was live in 1994, but has actually improved. She captivated the audience and this reviewer for almost 2 hours. And she accomplished this with none of the glitz that surround most of the other current performers that claim to be Divas. If a diva is defined by Talent and the ability to communicate to an audience, then Sade is truly a DIVA.

Let's be honest! For me the only problem with this live performance is that it's too good! The live versions of her songs are so good that the studio versions from her though excellent albums will appear bland to you compared to these live recordings.

Unsurprisingly, the selection of songs, well-balanced between her classic hits and the songs from "Lovers Rock", is top-notch.

I won't quote a song in particular because I love them all. The musicians are really amazing, so is the backup singer too (what an incredible voice! he would deserve to make a solo career, truly!) but of course what is the most worthy here is Sade Adu herself! As classy, elegant and seductive as ever, she's a real diva, in the noble sense of the term. Her voice is like no other, and is so emotional. Her musical style is simply unique, blending soul, pop, smooth jazz, funk with latin, carribean or even reggae influences. One can see thanks to the DVD format that she doesn't seem to be cold like the media say, she seems very generous with her audience. By the way I have to say I loved her dance steps in "The Sweetest Taboo".

To me Sade is one of the best artists ever! This live DVD is definitely to check if you are a Sade fan. It's my favorite live recording (Maxwell comes 2nd with his MTV Unplugged)

Just like another poster after listening to the cd audience I wanted to see what they were so excited about. Again Sade shows and proves. I saw her live years ago and it was a terrific experience. I like this DVD better than the first one. Perhaps with age, birth of a child and wisdom, Sade is just mesmerizing. I wish I could be so smooth and move as gracefully as she does in daily life. Her dance movements are just so classy and elegant yet sexy as they come. Of course, Sweetback is outstanding as expected.

This one should be in your collection. I am either watching it once a month and defintely keep the CD close by at all times.

I was very impressed with the DVD, "Lovers Live" by the incomparable Sade. Sade and her bandmates performed all of their greatest hits as well as material from her latest album, "Lovers Rock." Sade never fails to disappoint, and this was my first opportunity to see her sing live. Her voice is just as velvety smooth as it is on her CDs! Along with the almost two hours of concert footage, there are also some behind-the-scenes moments that people in the audience never got to see.

I would highly suggest this DVD to any fan of Sade, but I would also suggest it to people who have a great love of incredible music and would like to just sit back, relax, and enjoy one of the greatest bands, and singers, in the world!!! You will not be disappointed!!!!
