Rosie Thomas (born 1978 in Livonia, Michigan) is an American singer-songwriter. In the late 1990s she toured with the band Velour 100 before deciding to go solo. Her debut album When We Were Small was released on January 22, 2001. Since then she has released Only with Laughter Can You Win (2003), If Songs Could Be Held (2005), These Friends of Mine (2006), A Very Rosie Christmas (2008), With Love (2012). She also performs as a stand-up comedian under the name Sheila Saputo. In the 1990s Thomas met Trey Many through mutual friends and began playing shows with Velour 100.
