"Platero y Tú" was a rock band founded in Bilbao in the 1980's, and disbanded in 2001. Platero consisted of Adolfo Cabrales "Fito" (vocals/guitar), Iñaki Antón "Uoho" (guitar), Juantxu Olano "Mongol" (bass) and Jesús García "Maguila" (drums). Their lyrics speak mainly of drugs, bar issues and love, and their style, being mainly influenced by bands like Status Quo or Leño, and guitarrists like John Fogerty (Creedence Clearwater Revival), broke down whith the basque rock trend of the moment. Fito is now the singer of "Fito & Fitipaldis", and Uoho has become a guitarrist of "Extremoduro" and "Inconscientes".
