This "best of" collection mostly looks at his 80's material, with a few exceptions- its an EMI disc, and Tosh recorded on EMI for the last 3 lps he did, and EMI was also involved with the Rolling Stones at this point, thus the inclusion of "Don't Look Back" from the "Bush Doctor" lp.
Towards the end of his life, while Tosh mellowed out little, he clearly began to use the power of his experiences and heinsight to better get his points across. Reggafied cover of "Johnny Be Goode", the beautiful "Fools Die", " (You Got To Walk And) Don't Look Back" with Mick
Jagger & the smoldering live version of "Get Up, Stand Up" which, though co-written with Reggae King Bob Marley, was as
CD features some of the best works produced by the late Peter Tosh in the 1980s. Great range of moods. Would make a nice gift for those unfamiliar with this Reggae Warrior's contributions to the music industry and also serve as a worthwhile cd for his fans to own.
