- OK, I SURRENDER!!!

I never thought this could live up to the hype I read about it, but it does, completely! An incredible live performance - blows away ALL of Marley's live albums (and I love Marley!). This is one of the best live albums I have ever heard. Blows me away!!!

I'm not even a big fan of the track selection, but the band and Tosh play with such sincerity and conviction that each song becomes a winner. Terrific reggae album - one of the very best!

If you like LIVE albums, HIGHLY recommended!!!

- An exceptional live recording

This is an abolute must have for any music fan. every track on these two cd's are great, espicially the bush doctor on cd 2. this is also available on dvd. this was tosh's last performance in los angeles and these two cd's cover songs from every tosh album except for the posthmous no nuclear war, and legalize it, if you like this i strongly recommend live at the one love peace concert, live and dangerous boston, and live at the jamaican music festival. all are excellant cd's with strong messages in every track. once again the bush doctor peter tosh is at his best and it shows in captured live as well as the other cd's i mentioned. Peter is equal to and or better to bob marley in my opinion, and if you like this cd try bob marley and the wailers babylon by bus. both are must have's for any reggae collection.

- Hands Down the Best Live Album of All Time

Once Again, a broad claim. But, this truly is the best. Before My personal Favorite was "It's Alive" by The Ramones (With "Where's the 10 1/2" by Black Flag coming in a close second) but this album blows both of those away. I personally always preferred to Peter Tosh to Marley after the Wailers, and this is one of the reasons why. The actual sound is incredibly crisp, clean, and sounds better than in the studio. Now most of the time, I don't believe in live albums being superior in any way to recordings- there very rarely is any extra energy in live recordings. This is one of the exceptions. You can almost cry when you ear the beautiful, passionate energy coming out of his speakers. An essential to any Roots Reggae compilation.
