- Excellent double-sided release

Paul Van Dyk never ceases to amaze me. Ever since I heard "For An Angel" and his remix of "1998" the man can do no wrong. This double single is definitely worth your cash if you're into trance.

It starts off with a radio edit and club mix of "Another Way"... now this isn't the best thing PvD's produced over the years, but its still a fairly good tune. The disc really kicks into full force though with the electro-charged "Avenue". It sounds similar to "1998", but different enough for it to be an excellent tune. This is one of the highlights of the single. The other highlight is definitely "PvD Sessions Mix 1". It adds much needed energy to "Another Way" turning it into a mamoth sized club hit. "PvD Sessions Mix 2" isn't as great as "1", but its still another great trance tune. The last part of the CD is a megamix of "Another Way" and "Avenue" which is alright, but tracks 3&4 alone are probably the best.

The US Maxi single is definitely a great investment because there are 2 UK releases, one with the radio and club mixes of "Another Way" and the full length "Avenue". The second features strictly the megamix, and PvD Sessions Mixes are not found on the CD. I'd suggest this to any fan of PvD, and even thoughs who don't know him and are into trance, I'd get it too.

- PVD does it again.

This (Another Way) is another trance/dream style track by PVD. Again, he does a terrific job in choosing the melodies and composing the track. Other traxx of his such as "forbidden fruit", "For an angel",etc are in the same style as "another way". "Avenue" is a fairly decent track which works good on the dance floor with high paced mix of traxx.

PVD has been making and remixing good trance and progressive traxx for a while now. He is a talented DJ and producer. He has many fans worldwide. However, I think PVD should try something little different in the same music style. What I mean is he should use different keyboards, synths, bass drums, and different style when he composes and produces his tunes. Be a little creative. PVD's many traxx and songs sound somewhat similar. They all are plain or simple. For example: one beat and one main melody with some breaks here and there. I think he should be more creative like DJ Taucher, AYLA, DJ Sakin, Mythos N DJ Cosmo, or even his buddy BT. BT shows his terrific talent in every single release of his. PVD should do the same but by being himself.

- PVD is an ANGEL!

Paul Van Dyk has opened up a pandora's box full of quality trance music with all his high standard releases. Using his trademark minor chords to full melancholy effect on 'Another Way' the song is atmoshperically haunting and the perfect companion to 'For An Angel'.Subtley building and growing with every sound until it leaves you in an instant. His mixes of it are splendid. Avenue on the other hand takes a more techno approach, and is more harder and darker while still retaining it's beauty with the use of a synth organ and what I believe to be a 303 in the breakdown. Paul Van Dyk is the GOD OF TRANCE and if you want to find out what all the fuss is about, then get this CD, you won't be disappointed!

- A Departure into a Different Direction...

PvD has always been known for his awesome remixes, but never so much for his own work (other than "For an Angel" and "Words"). This time, he's hit it, making 2 new tracks that sound as great as all the other tracks his name is attatched to. I was pleasantly surpised by the power of "Another Way (Sessions Mix 1)"...I find it better than the original mix itself. I'm eagerly awaiting the rest of "Out There and Back"...having heard "Tell Me Why? (The Riddle)", I know this album is going to surpass both "45 RPM" and "Seven Ways".

- THIS SONG LEADS YOU TO HEAVEN

Another way is the best song by PVD and it's still the number one in my favorites list, the beat is pulsing, the melody is enchanting, the work on strings is excellent, the vocals are pure whispering bliss. Every time I listen to this song I notice new particulars, this song grows every time, with no limits.
