Ozzy's old, give him some credit. And by the way Suicide Solution is on the DVD it's just not on the cd cuz it ends up being like twenty minutes long. Anyway
1.I Don't Know-Always excellent opener played exceptionally well.
2.That I Never Had-New song that really grows on you. All around well played song.
3.Believer-The singular song off of Diary of a Madman. Cool song. Not up to par though. One of the downsides of this show.
4.Junkie-An anthemic anti drug song that catches you at first listen and never lets go.
5.Mr. Crowley-The classic itself. Always loved this whole song and its very well displayed here especially the intro Keyboard solo and Zakk's solos.
6.Gets Me Through-A new classic. Probably the best song off of Down To Earth. Really catchy and generally a great song.
7.Suicide Solution-DVD ONLY-great song especially liek zakk's solo which includes part of eddie van halens eruption and the star spangled banner.
8.No More Tears-For some reason I don't like this version. Maybe it's just the way Robert Trujillo(the bassist) plays the main riff. Just sounds a bit off.
9.I Dont' Want To Change The World-Great song off of no more tears.
10.Road To Nowhere-The only truly beautiful song Ozzy ever wrote. Excellent guitar work by Zakk. Watching it on the DVD makes this man cry.
11.Crazy Train-excellent extended live version of this instant classic.
ENCORES:
12.Mama I'm Coming Home-Good version of the classic. Check out Zakk's double neck SG on the DVD
13.Bark At The Moon-the only track off of a great album. Well played. Still wish Ozzy wore the werewolf costume he did for the video live. Just think itd be cool.
14.Paranoid-Great version of the Sabbath classic.
Overall:A great intro to Ozzy. This cd will creat new fans overnight. All Metal fans should own this great live album.
This is by far the best live album I ever heard form Ozzy Osbourne(better than LIVE + LOUD,Just say Ozzy, and Tribute) (Nothing against Randy Rhoads).Live in Budokan is better than Live + Loud because, Live + Loud is a two discs that some songs are pretty bad form the studio recordeing and when you hear it Live from that album [is not good]. But with this album its 1 disc that has all the hits from Ozzy that you want to hear and it sound great.I'm a big fan of live albums that why I like this album so much. Compared to a person that doesn't like live albums. The whole album is very great when it comes to the music from Zakk Wlyed one of the best guitars of all time. Rob Trujillo a very good,no the best basses that Ozzy ever had. Mike Bordin on the drums that are amazing. Then you have Ozzy Osbourne on vocals that totally rulez. And then you have the fans that will blow your ears away, they scream at the top of there lungs it great. Thats all you need for a great Ozzy Osboune record. Some of the songs sounds better on this live album than the studio version. Like Crazy Train, Mr Crowley, No More Tears, Mama I'm Comming Home, Bark at the Moon. And Paranoid sound so good on this album because of Zakk Wyled solo in the middle of the song. Then there are some of Ozzy's new songs from Down To Earth album (which is a must have for a Ozzy fan). Like Gets Me Through, Junkie, and That I never had are totally better live than the studio version by far. And you have to hear Zakk Wlyed's guitar riffs are incredable they are so off the hook, and the solos that he has off of these songs, they are amazing. He is no Tony Immoi from Black Sabbath, but he can soon be or even better, No Zakk Wyled is ten times better thatn Immoi(no offense)(I love you Tony, but Zakk is better than you sorry). So there you have it. Go out and buy this album you will not regrete it i promise you that. This is Ozzy Osbourne at his best.LIVE!
Without Zakk this disc would only be worthy of a 2 star review.
His guitar rips and to quote Ozzy himself "Zakk plays louder than Satan". However.....
Anyone who has seen the Osbourne's knows Ozzy is well past his prime. Most of the vocals on the disc sound like they were recorded in Ozzy's bedroom first thing in the morning. He drones on and on in a low monotone for most of the songs. His voice carries none of the power it used to. Anyone who listens to this disc and denies it has a brain that's nearly as fried as Ozzy's.
But [...], even Ozzy at 50% is better than any of the metal wanna-bees, Vince Neil's and David Coverdale's of the world.
Look for a used copy of Speak Of The Devil if you really want to hear some great live Ozzy.
ps stay away from the new 2002 remasters of "Blizzard" & "Diary" with new bass and drum tracks. They are blasphemous and brutally bad. Randy RIP!!
Why are you reading this? go up and ORDER THIS CD!!!!!!!!!
Don't listen to the bad reviews.....THEY'RE TRASH!
Highlights-
I also recommend the dvd...
BY GOD, BUY THE CD THIS INSTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yet another live album by the one and only OZZY!! The production is great, as Ozzy's vocals come through very well, as do Zakk Wylde's mind-blowing guitar-playing. You can really feel the energy on this disc, and you can't help but smile and bang your head when Ozzy blasts into "Crazy Train"! Definitely a great album if your looking to get into Ozzy, or if you're a diehard Ozzy fan already!! This shows that at 53, the reigning godfather of metal is still going strong!
