- Duped again..............but good songs!

After finding out about the live tracks on Neil Diamond's Greatest Hits 1966-92, I decided to buy this collection to get studio recordings. What a mistake! Some of his best songs are live (again) on this album, which is odd because it's an MCA Records release. The worst version ever of Sweet Caroline has to be the one on this album, although other songs, such as Song Sung Blue and Cracklin Rosie do appear in their original format. Despite this album offering 30 tracks, I will never listen to it. Instead, I recommend The Neil Diamond Collection (available at Amazon), which has only 18 tracks, but all the best ones from this album are on that collection IN THEIR ORIGINAL STUDIO RECORDING. I gave this CD three stars because of the power of the (few) studio recordings you get here, but if you want all studio recordings, buy the other album instead.

- Disappointing!

I was assured that all the songs were "Studio" by the shop. So I bought it, only to find "Sweet Caroline" to be LIVE and DISGUSTING!

The person who compiled this box deserves this compliment: SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!
