- An Excellent Album By Neil Diamond !!!

This would have to one one of my favourite Neil Diamond albums. The track "Forever In Blue Jeans' is worth listening too just for the acoustic guitar introduction alone. "You Don't Bring Me Flower" , a duet with Ms.Barbra Streisand was also a big hit probably because it contained the lyrics "Now after loving me late at night, you just roll over and turn out the light". I suspect one reason for this song's sucess was that millions of lonely married women could relate to this predicament. I was so impressed with the track "Memphis Flyer" that I named my Porsche 930 Turbo after it!!!

- From a huge Diamondhead!

At first I didn't like this album. I guess I was too used to listening to the older stuff. This sounded too DISCO to me. Then I gave it a chance and it has become an enjoyable album for me. A lot of classics, and not-so classics but definitely worth owning and listening to.

- Teaming up with Barbra Streisand!

Teaming up with Barbra Streisand in late 1978, Diamond had huge hit with duet titletrack from 'You Don't Bring Me Flowers'. This CD demonstrate that Neil Diamond is a creative songwriter and a performer of great stature.

- Neil Rocks!

I have nearly every album recorded by Neil Diamond. Every one is great; good songs. If you are a Neil Diamond fan, it is a must-have.

- Nice and Smooth ND

Buy this one for the duet with Barbra alone. Probably one of the Top 10 ND tracks he re-records this classic with Barbra Streisand and it is fantastic. I wonder why they never did any more duets since they both recorded for Columbia. Neil had done this song solo on a previous album but this classic duet his the one that soared to the top in the Easy Listening chart.
