These two discs followed the ultra classic 'hair of the dog' and they were both great example of prime hard rock and great ballads like 'carry out feelings'. For most fans these two are not as great as 'hair of the dog' or 'no mean city' and I agree with them. However you have some really great songs on here like the favorite hit 'telegram' , 'vancouver shakedown' and others. At this price you get great nazareth cds for the price of one. and the bonus b-side track is the same one on the single disc versions which are out of print basically. The single versions do have edited single versions of songs on both cd's but this is still a better deal. These cd's were solid nazareth albums and they did a great job of coming up with these tunes because in those days bands were abused they had to tour constantly and come up with music in the studio in the off time. Which this band did quite well and they were still at their peak here with great riffs and the typical loud and proud style of rock and roll.
This set is worth it for fans of great hard rock and you even get the cool version of joe tex's "I want to do everything for you' on 'play n the game'
So do yourself a favor if you are a fan of hard rock and 70's metal which at least was melodic and well played; grab this set.
I just got this cd that contains close enough for rock nroll, and play n the game.I was blew away by both albums i own just a few nazareth albums like loud n proud razamanaz, nazareth first album and exercises and hair of the dog but i will be collecting all there albums i like nazareth better that led zepp black sabbath or deep purple i have order rampant and i cant wait to hear it.
I was very pleased to get this CD. I had been looking for this CD for a few years, and hadn't been able to locate it. It came when the vendor told me it would, it was in great condition (New). I would definitely buy from this vendor again.
