this is a great compilation for nazareth fans. this cd not only covers the great early seventies phase but it also covers the early eighties period with John locke and Billy rankin and beyond.

Nazareth has so many great songs and CD's that for the fan on a budget this is a great compilation.

If you are looking for a Nazareth hit collection. Then look no further. This contains all of their well known songs, plus songs that never received that much air play. This is the best bang for your buck!

I bought this for 1 song I didn't remember hearing and I'm glad I did. "Where Are You Now" is a pretty song among their other great rockers.

Not too recently I bit the bullet and purchased this collection for an obscenely small amount of money. Since I am not in the habit of carting around musical duds in my collection, and I am at the mercy of online shops that want to sell to me, I was really ambivalent about a collection titled Massive Hits being sold for three dollars.

I am not a connoisseur of sound engineering so I can only go so far in providing a review. I do not use high-end equipment and I think Vinyl sounds good. However, I have bought CDs, Bad Company's 10 From 6 for one example, that were so bad I returned them to the store. That CD, a favourite of mine, was unbearable to listen to. My tape sounded better. So for the money being asked for a Nazareth Massive Hits CD, my question was: what's wrong with this compilation?

The answer is nothing. I got a steal of a deal.

All the massive hits are indeed here for the casual listener, like myself. And there are songs here worth repeat listening. So if you are deciding on this CD, I wholeheartedly recommend it. And the chances are you too will enjoy a great deal.

While all the reviews are 5 or 4 star, the reviews themselves are vapid and barren of any properties that would assist me to make a choice for or against buying this CD. The best part of this product description is the track listing and audio samples. Disappointing.

Nazareth has a bazillion CDs of repackaged greatest hits. How is the sound quality of this CD? Are the tracks full tracks or cut off at the end? Did some guy put this together from his garage along a side street in Hong Kong...? Are these re-recordings? Tell us what the music company won't tell us, people please.

I cannot believe that in 4 reviews by "Naz fans" not a one mentions the output quality of this item - and this is not the only case of reviews on Amazon that are worthless at the cash register. I am frustrated because I have not been able to find another source for reviews of this product.

Bottomline, when writing a review:

DO NOT TELL US YOUR OPINIONS ABOUT THE ARTIST. WE ARE NOT HERE TO BUY THOSE. TELL US ABOUT THE PRODUCT. In this case - tell us about sound quality; about track length; and answer the question what does this CD contribute to the Nazareth legacy...

Now I would still appreciate answers to those questions before I buy this CD. Someone either write a product review or post a comment to my review. [The one-star is to get your attention!]
