- Like Bad Karaoke

I bought this album thinking it would be an acoustic tribute album of the sort that are growing in popularity these days. While I was a little dissapointed to realize it was simply a cover band, I still figured the power of A Perfect Circle's music would carry over.

Boy, was I ever wrong. The music is competent if not great, but the vocals are amateurish and shaky. It's like the singer is struggling so hard to stay on key (and not always succeeding)that he's lost all sense of everything else.

If you're new to A Perfect Circle, I highly recommend you go buy their actual albums. If you're already a fan, this won't add anything to your experience, and might tick you off.

- Relax, guys are joking

Well... maybe it is good to hear - just to become more consciouss about how big is Maynard's talent.

Those covers were recorded under the vision of drunk APC members. Ok, this CD is propably kind of joke...

Customer review
- Not good.

Musically this album isn't actually that bad (or.. I guess what I mean is instrumentally it isn't that bad). The singer, however, is just simply not good. As someone else noted, I think I could sing better than him.

Luckily I didn't buy this album, but heard it on a website. Wow... it's just not good.

- Hmm

although i don't actually have this, i'm basing my review on the clips here. vocals aside, it sounds spot on. but vocals in mind... wow... so basically they just need a different singer and then they have something going for them.
