This song is like Hero, but Mariah sings with more emotion. I love this song because I was going through a tough time this past couple of months, and it inspired me just to be me, and not to listen to people who don't matter.

Yes , i've had it already from the rainbow album , but it's attracted me ! it's the best single of Mariah's EVER! I love it !

Mariah's "theme" is quite lovely, my 2nd fav Mariah ballad (my 1st being "Vision of Love"). Her voice is tremendously powerful, and the lyrics (co-written by the great Diane Warren) are actually meaningful, unlike the Ashanti-Ciara-Christina Milian crap we have today. Mariah's masterpiece, in my opinion.

Can't Take That Away (Mariah's Theme) is a great single! It includes 3 remixes of the song, the original song, and the bside Crybaby. The song is about being proud of who you are, and not letting people get you down. This is a very positive song, much like her 1993 hit Hero. Too bad this song isn't doing well on the charts, because it's a breath of fresh air. Crybaby is a great song too. Definately check this single out, and her Rainbow album while you're at it!

This has to be Mariah Carey's best song. I can't believe how underrated it is. Can't Take That Away has soooo much meaning to it and Mariah puts a lot of emotion into it. If you like her other ballads like Hero and My All,you'll love this. It's Mariah at her best.
