Review - Amazon.com
In terms of his status as an Undaground Legend, it's "Game Over" for Lil' Flip. Longtime fans of the Texas freestyle king won't find much to love about his third major-label solo release, which seems geared towards the ever-expanding "commercial rap" market. Presented as a two-CD affair but in actuality only minutes longer than a single disc, Feel Me suffers from the usual flaws: played out subject matter (Flip and friends cock glocks and sling rocks ad nauseum), generically "hot" beats (c'mon, more slowed vocal samples from the Heatmakerz?), and guest appearances that smack of arranged marriages. That said, there's just enough talent shown here to make up for the filler: listeners will definitely be feeling the two tracks featuring David Banner while Red Spyda's production provides "Check (Let's Ride)" with an unexpectedly funky roots-reggae-meets-Southern-bounce sound. --Rebecca Levine

- Man i am not happy with this album

Ok where can i start i hate to compare albums .But this album is no where near as good as undergroung legend. I like flips style alot just sounds like he is trying to go more pop on this album..more mainstream. Its a few bangers on the album just isnt what i thought it would be. Check it out ,but if ya aint heard underground legend thats the album ya need to get before you can even listen to this album. To many apperances not enough TEXAS STYLE ON HURR.......

- This is the kind of crap thats killin hip hop

Lil Flip sucks. He may consider himself the 'undaground legend' but i consider him an embarrasment to hip hop. First of all I dont have to 'feel' anything and im sure as hell not feeling this album. Lil flip has no flow at all, he rhymes words together little kids could rhyme. On the song "Sunshine"(only good thing about the song is the fine girl who sings on it)one of his so called rhymes is "just answer your phone whenever i call, cuz im sittin on chrome whenever i ball"... whatever happened to the sophisticated well thought out lyrics. A three year old could rhyme call with ball and phone with chrome. And in his song "Check(Lets Ride)" a line in the song says "Im to street to go pop-but i pop heat in the street"... haha thats the biggest load of bs ive ever heard. This fool has been pop since he released his first album, what a stupid thug wannabe. And whatever happened to lil troy, one of the only good artists to ever come out of houston. Lil Flip sucks, dont buy this garbage unless you feel like wasting your money.

- LiL Flop

Ima get straight to the point and tell you this album is wack. This is not coming from a Lil flip hater, actually I WAS a fan. Key word was. I dont know if this was his attempt for comercial success, but he got over on a million fans on this one. It's messed up when the best song on the album is Game Over. And the funny thing about Game Over is that it's clearly the best song on the album. I haven't heard a album this wack since Master P's Only God Can Judge Me. If anybody give this album 3 stars and above then either your related to Lil Flip or you know him personally.

- dissapointment

I am from Dallas and have been a fan of and following lil flips career since he was 17. Most of the people that gave this cd high rates obviously don't understand what Lil Flip is about and how good his previous cd's were. This CD is so commercialized it's an embarrasment to the underground rappers of Texas. You can tell this is exactly what sony wants from slip to please a wide variety of audiences that are more used to a ludacris, chingy, murphy lee, type rap, Where all the beats are pleasing to the ear, and all the raps are about ice, cars, hoes, and being a balla. There are a few exceptions with songs like game over, whats my name, the sun don't shine, we ain't playin, and bounce, but other than that there is nothin that special, and there are definately no gems on the cd. This cd will never compare the Undergroun Legend or even flips first cd The Leprechaun which was pretty impressive. I wouldnt recommend buying this, and u can probably find most the songs i listed on kazaa or have a friend burn them for you. Spend your money on something else or if you want a lil flip cd go with Underground Legend, which is what flip will stay if he doesn't come out with anymore garbage like this just to get rich.
