I've ordered this CD and it hasn't come in yet, but I've heard the songs before. This is an awesome first import for the band. It contains: Hanging By A Moment, and three songs the band made when they were in their old group, Blyss: What's Wrong With That, Fool, and Fairy Tales and Sand Castles. These three songs are 3 great, upbeat songs that will put you in a good mood with their great lyrics. If you're a Lifehouse fan, this CD is a must!
Lifehouse's Hanging By A Moment has been my favorite song since the first time I heard it on the radio. It's a song that hooks you from the beginning, and never loses its play. In fact, all of the songs on Lifehouse's cd, No Name Face, has that same quality. I was glad to find more tracks by them on this import that was taken from Lifehouse's first hard-to-find (believe me) album. Fairytales Sandcastles is a superb song. With Jason's colorful lyrics and beautiful voice supplied by the band's instrumentals, the song sticks with you. As does Fool. It kind of follows in the vein of Hanging By A Moment, but there's a total difference. It's an awesome song, and has become one of my favorite Lifehouse songs. Sitting up there with Hanging By A Moment. What's Wrong with That is an excellent song, and proves that Lifehouse once again can make every one of their songs different and likeable. What can I say? I love this band. And will for years to come.
This single contains three previously unreleased tracks from 'Blyss' which makes this single a gem! While all tracks are worthy of a mention, 'Fool' is the stand-out track and in my opinion which should have been included on 'No Name Face'. It has quickly become one of my (many) favourite Lifehouse tracks!
Since I live in Australia, I was fortunate to purchase this single cheaply. However, no matter the cost, this single is definitely worth its weight in gold.
Lifehouse does quality music on every recording. In an age where most cds are comprised of 2 or 3 good songs and 10 "filler" pieces, their music is especially refreshing and inventive.
If you can, track this down for the B-side 'Fool'. The best song the band has ever recorded in my opinion, all serious Lifehouse fans should own this song. It is a shame it was not included on the album.
