- All I Can Say Is WOW!

Aha, now I understand why Simon is so tough.

Simon knows exactly what he is looking for on American Idol or his European versions of AI. He wants the entire package and when he sees it, he grabs it, that's it in a nutshell. Simon wants the best and will not settle for less. He got the best when Leona Lewis came along.

Leona's voice is a voice we will be listening to for generations to come. She is one class act, classy voice, classy looks, classy dress - she's got it all, and now I will no longer get upset when Simon tells it like it is because he knows the "best" when he sees it and he knows who will make it and who won't.

- Not as good as Kelly Clarkson's original version

I think Leona did a nice rendition of "Moment like this". However, I don't think anyone could match the vocal prowess, emotion and texture of voice like Kelly Clarkson did. Leona's version is mostly a copy of Kelly's (except for a couple places) and I found myself wishing for the original. On the other hand, had I never heard Kelly, I would have thought Leona's version was pretty good.

Hey, since this is an import, I paid $12.00 for this 2 song disc. Trust me, I was hoping that I would love it. I didn't. I guess you will have to judge for yourself.

If you have never heard Leona Lewis, you need to...she has the most beautiful voice. She can be compared to Mariah and others because of how good she is already. Simon Cowell does know what he is doing and this proves it. One of the prettiest songs is: "Footprints in the Sand" one of my favorites. If you ever heard her you will want to know who that is so that you can purchase her music.
