Review - Product Description
US only limited edition vinyl gatefold picture disc! It's been a long wait but a new Killer's album has finally appeared on the horizon, with preliminary reports suggesting they've dropped the fixation with English based Indie Rock n Roll to concentrate on a more homespun sound (having heard "Hot Fuss" it may surprise you to learn that they are actually Americans hailing from Las Vegas). With songs taking their cues from, amongst others, Springsteen, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, U2 and Iggy Pop this new musical offering should be ace. Universal. 2006.

- 5 Star Music, 1 Star LP

The LP sounds great and it doesn't get any static either. However, there are multiple problems with this package.

The disc itself needed a better enclosure. A plastic sleeve with no sturdiness is not good for the LP. The first time I played the disc, there was one skip on each side. Not so bad though. However, after a handful of plays, there was one looped section on side 2.

My turntable plays other records just fine.

I returned the record for a new one. The first side was perfect. The second side had a skip in it and had a looped section on the exact same part as the first one I received.

You have been warned.

- It's decent... would be 5 stars if the sound quality was better

I played this on my record player and it has decent sound. Not the best quality sound, but this vinyl disc makes a cool collectible.

- Good vinyl*

*If you get a good press.

I got this because it's one of my favorite Killers albums. The A side sounded really good, but the B side was all crackles... I got a replacement from Amazon and both sides are awesome. You just gotta roll the dice when you buy this one, and hope for a good press the first time around.

- Don't understand the hate...

I played this on my Audio Technica turntable and it sounded great! I'm a huge Killers fan and this is exactly what I was looking for. The sleeve it comes in however is a joke, it was already frayed and ripped on the edges when I received it.

This is a limited edition Picture Disc LP. Its amazing just to look at. Not your standard vinyl record. You'll really be impressed with this piece in your collection!

Looks and sounds great!
