Kylie Minogue absolutely rockets her way through this song which after a few months still manages to get me uplifted and brighten my day. It the kinda song which the louder youplay it the more faultless it sounds. Number 1 in Australia number 2 in UK. Your Disco Needs You is a fantastic club tune by the superb remixers Almighty who have also remixed "Butterfly" from her new album LIGHT YEARS. Ocean Blue is the sexiest and sweetest song Kylie has sung in ages, the girl can write the girl can sing! Let the light years begin!

Just in time for the Sydney Olympics, Kylie's "On A Night Like This" has entered the Australian chart at # 1 and the UK chart at # 2 - very deserving for one of the best dance/pop singles released in 2000!!! This is Kylie's 6th # 1 single in Australia, which is an amazing accomplishment. She is truly a pop superstar, I only wish America would wake up and embrace this magnificent singer - you are missing out big time!! "On A Night Like This" is a great dance tune, with a Euro-pop vibe, perfect for the dance floor or driving along to in the car with the wind in your hair! If you liked "Spinning Around" you will love this. Stay tuned for one of the albums of the year, "Light Years", released next week.

If "Spinning Around" didn't remind us of the pleasures of Kylie's music, then this song will. It is remarkably sexy and fun. It has a great beat to it, and like most everything else Metro produces, has some great lyrics. The remixes arent bad, but they dont improve on the album version. Get this disc while you can, its destined to be deleted. And if you can, be sure sure to get a copy of the CD2 for this cd single.. great bonus track called "Ocean Blue" on that one.

No offense, but I'm a big fan of Kylie's up-tempo songs. I appreciate that she has talent for big dance hits and slow, meaningful, heartful songs. I like Ocean Blue, but I listen to it rarely. If you're interested in the song, especially without paying the price of the single and shipping, try Kylie's official site. I downloaded it there, and its an acoustic, quiet song. Its really for the die-hard Kylie fans.
