Review - Product Description
Created, composed and performed as the backdrop to the Broadway production, Cirque Ingenieux, Kitaro soundtrack is a moving auditory experience in the European Cirque tradition. Set at the turn of the century, ‘Cirque Ingenieux’ is a story of a girl who falls in love with a single ring circus. Returning to the empty tent later that night, she discovers a magical display of performance artistry told through visual musical effects.

Kitaro’s score ranges from lilting waltzes to haunting melodies piercing together evocative and moving elements of this grand scheme.

- What happened to the REAL songs?

If you seen the "Cirque Ingenieux" on television and want the music on it - it's not here. Instead of the French singer, we get this lady humming notes (that she can barely keep); a kind of no-frills version of the stage production. The guitars are completely missing - it is less dramatic. As hard as it was to find, I had to throw it away because it didn't have the mysterious power of the original tv production. (I'll give them a star for being able to completely fool me though! )

- Outstanding.

Went to see this troupe in Denver CO with my special friend Craig. It was one of the most romantic nights of my life and I will ALWAYS remember it because of this CD! Craig told me, "Andy you have to buy this CD!"

- Cirque Ingenieux - The Best!

This CD is disappointing for me only because there is very little of Colleen Ryan singing her lyrics from the stage production and the arrangements of the music are different. However, I love it because the melodies are the same as the stage production, and it is good music. Words can't express how much I love Cirque Ingenieux. Colleen Ryan is stunning as the Angel. Dariusz Wronski and Yarek Marciniak are unbelievable as the Stone Strong Men. The finale, with the two girls performing together on the double lira, while Sarah's brother, the Angel and other Cirque members watch from below is enough to bring tears. BRAVO, Cirque Ingenieux!!!
