This KISS C.D. is priced right, it has a great selection of KISS music on it, the sound that comes out of your speaker from this C.D. is FANTASTIC!!!! Good price, good music,good sounding C.D. What else do you need to know, go out and buy it for yourself, Recommended Highly by me a long time Kiss Fan. Heck even my seventeen year old son said this C.D. sounded good when he heard it. Ok, if you are fan of kiss like me , then you probably own all the regular kiss releases and some other rarities as well. So I don't need this release but I got it for someone else and it sounds great and it has 24 great songs from this band so a person who isn't familiar with kiss's music will get a overvue with some classic hits here. The cover is similiar to 'double platinum' but these are not re-recordings. For fans I suggest you buy some kiss cd's etc because I can't say I there's a terrible cd out from this band ever. rock on kiss!

Fantastic collection of KISS tunes, and of course if you're looking at this product, it's KISS, not much more to say. They even have the single from their disco album, if that's what you're into!

Okay, Great tracks, great variety; however, whats the difference between IKONS ( 4 CDs ), KISS GOLD ( 40 TRACKS ), and the re-recorded items on SONIC BOOM ? I would be willing to bet that the tracks if shown on their own to any one would not be any differentiator( i.e. you could not pick the difference).

As for saying that these are great for new fans, well, what are the remastered albums for ? IKONS I will admit was the the best since YOU WANTED THE BEST, but how many best of collections are needed? Has anyone kept tabs on how many best of releases world wide are released. There clearly is a demand for KISS items, but why the extra product? The albums are great. Love the remastered, and they work well. No wonder I see so many KISS items in dump bins. The LIVE collection with LIVE 1,2,3, and Millenium concert is fairly well done, except that Millenium has ACE edited out, but it still has a great mix. Are the new fans really that gullible? Or if they want some extras on the remasters, why not get Japanese versions of the albums which sound great ?

If you are going to insist on pack after pack of the same tracks with minimal variation, why not at least have ONE varying factor... Concert dates!!! Have the new package of classic songs put out as a concert date; at least that way the longer term fans have a more valid reason for buying the endless re-iterations of the setlists.

KISS brings the rock to the sound and soul of their fans and no matter if similar (same) to others of their compilation, pulling these together ROCK.
