Kenny G's 1994 album of economically arranged standards, which also happens to include Brahms's "Lullaby" and his own "The Chanukah Song," pales in comparison to his other holiday record, the highly creative and memorable Faith. That said, Miracles will appeal to some for its easy (some would say lazy) jazz renderings on G's soprano horn. The most inventive thing on the CD is a witty reading of "Greensleeves" wedded to Dave Brubeck's "Take 5." For sheer commercial appeal and enough romantic notes to keep the fireside roaring, Kenny G will make a good Santa for his many, many fans. --Martin Keller

- Beautiful!

"The Holiday Album" is one of my favorite Christmas CD's. All of the tunes are lovely however, the Brahms lullaby is heavenly! I listen to that song on any given day. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is poignant and moving in the expressions he uses in his phrasing. All of the tunes have his unique touch that only Kenny G can create. I hope to get his new Christmas CD very soon!

- An Album To RememberA Record Blessed By God Himself!

Now, "Winter Wonderland," the first cut on this wonderful record: a very happy, up-beat song; I like the brush on the drums in the background. "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" is by far the best track on this record. Judi Garland was the first person to perform it, and she did in the movie "Meet Me In St. Louis." I would have to say Kenny's version tops it. He also won a Grammy award for it. Kenny also utilizes the smooth, soulful sounds of the tenor saxophone (a

nice change from the soprano-always good now and then). The strings and piano are Heavenly accompaniments to his sax. The final chorus of the song attacks both your heart and soul, and a surge of emotion just washes over your body. It's one his most memorable tracks-to me, anyway.

"Silent Night," "White Christmas," "Miracles," "Little Drummer Boy," The Chanukah Song," "Away In A Manger," "Brahms Lullaby" are all very soft, quiet, beautiful, from-the-heart songs. They are perfect to have around during the holiday-or any other time.

"Silver Bells" is a lite-rock song, and it *rocks*!

"Miracles" is, unfortunately, a very short record-36 minutes, actually. So it's probably best if you set your CD player to repeat, because you'll want to enjoy this masterpiece again and again. I hope Kenny comes out with a sequel-there are plenty of holiday songs out there for him to choose from!!

This is a record DEFINATELY worth your money, and will satisfy-for whenever or whatever mood you are striving to achieve-you in any way you want. For music to be this touching, it has to be, without a doubt, a Miracle from God.

Okay, before I complete my fourth review of Kenny's music I want to say something to all the negative reviewers out there: if you don't like the music, don't listen to it, and above all, don't be immature and put down not just Kenny G and his music, but all the people who love his music. Being an author, I always say 'flames will be used as target practice.'

- Holiday classic

My wife LOVES christmas music, and I get her a few CDs every year. This one can't miss. I previewed the songs on the Amazon site and even an Ol' Humbug like me will enjoy listening to this one over and over as we go over the hill (ok- so its up I-95) to grandma's house for the holidays.

- Who can beat Kenny with those mellow sounds--Oh, so nice!

Kenny has a talent and skill in his musical compostions that help me to relax and kick-back. His mellow tones and improvisational skills are without a doubt one of the most pleasurable listening experiences for me. This album is a must for those who want to enjoy and relax with some soothing Christmas music. I would like to hear some piano arrangements in future albums, as I believe it adds some interest and alternatives to his selections.

- Essential Holiday CD!

Is it possible to wear out a CD and have to replace it? If so, I'd willingly replace my three year old copy of Kenny G's "Miracles". It's the first CD I reach for when the Holidays begin in late November. An excellent, always well-received and inexpensive gift idea, too!
