This CD is great. I loved the movie and music so much that it inspired me to visit San Francisco and then take the drive up Highway 1 to see Mendocino (of course with the soundtrack playing in the car). This music is great to relax to and will always but you in a better mood when you're having a bad day! A must listen!!
This music is like fine wine, you develop a taste for this classic with age.I never saw the movie but the soundtrack is worth 5 stars. This music is larger than any one artist,so for those juveniles who dislike Kenny G please restrain yourself.
I remember dashing right into the store and getting this soundtrack after I walked out from the music. Still dewed with droplets of tears in the face, the touching melody from Kenny G kept sounding off in my mind. Even to this day (movie was first premiere in 1992), pictures from the movie are played back in my mind whenever I have this soundtrack tune going. The music will move your heart and pierce through your senses. A modern classics.
I was happily surprised to hear that Jeffrey Osborne was the male vocalist on "All The Way" Kenny G did a good job on this soundtrack. The movie was good as well.
I totally recommend this CD! It is good to listen to it while you sit at the computer for example. As I mentioned above in the summary, I think the music is excellent as a background music and therefore not disturbing at all. I saw the movie "Dying Young" two times and think that the two main actors Julia Roberts and Campbell Scott have done an extraordinary job in it. If you love romantic music and the music from Kenny G, well this is THE CD for you. If you have seen the movie, you can picture the scenes, especially when you listen to the track "Driving North/Moving In". This reminds me of the scene where the two drive to the rural house which they have rented together.
