This collection of songs is Joe Nichol's first fully produced studio album that was made in his early days in Nashville. It gives all country and specifically Joe Nichols' fans an early, in depth look at his stardom just as it was beginning to shine. - Different Sound, Still Good
I liked all of Joe Nichols' big albums (Man With a Memory, Revelation, and III) so I decided to get this and hear some of his early stuff. The tunes are similar but Joe's voice is more like Garth Brooks than the Joe Nichols on the radio. However, it is still a great CD with some great songs on it.

- Garth Nichols
It's amazing how much Joe Nichols sounded like Gath Brooks in 1996.
If he can still sing like that he needs to do it as a novelty act.
His voice is much better the way he sings to today, but if I would have heard this early stuff and not known who it was, I would have been convinced that it was unreleased Brooks material.

- Joe Nichols Early Years
Joe is great but this first CD is not the quality we are used to in his music today.
