Review - Product Description

Two disc package with some of the most critically acclaimed music of Joan Jett's career. Album has the Top 40 hits 'Fake Friends' and 'Everyday People' as well as fan favorite 'The French Song'. in addition, the 'Everyday People' dance mix, included here, was a Top 10 R&B hit. Glorious Results Of A Misspent Youth features great original material like 'Frustrated' and the legendary Runaways hit 'Cherry Bomb'. Both of these CDs have been remastered and include enhanced material, including live footage from the era of the original albums.

"Glorious Results Of A Misspent Youth" (1984) Did Not Chart (Oh my)!

Oh my, what really happened here? Great album, don't know why rock and roll radio never played this, what a damn crime. After 3 years Joan Jett went from #2 in 1981 to not charting in 1984. This album rocks like no other, we get The Runaway remake "Cherry Bomb", (best version here), the Gary Glitter cover "I Love You Love Me Love" #105, the rocking' "Frustrated", the sweet ballad "Hold Me", "LongTime", a runaway train boogie number by Joan. Another classic remake is "Talkin' About My Baby", the 50's "I Need Someone", "Love Like Mine", (should of been a hit single choice), horn driven "New Orleans", and "Someday". "Push And Stomp" and "Got No Answers", classic Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. This album is damn good, should of been a major seller. 1986 gave us more "Good Music".

- Simply Great The extra's are more than worthwhile.

This double CD set is so much better than the original single album. Real hard core Joan Jett music worth having.

I Have Album on Vinyl and Glorious Resuts of a Misspent Youth on cassette. I wanted these on CD got it now.

- Again?

Although the music is good, the video part is ok, why does Joan Jett albums keep going in and out of print? It's ridiculous. These are probably her 2 best cds.

Album has long been my favorite Joan Jett album and I was happy to find it on CD. Glorious Results of a Misspent Youth was a little Bubble-gum-pop generic for my taste.
