Since the beginning of her musical career Jessica's life has been always a constant in the limelight. So much so that one can forget that Jessica started out purely as a singer. All of her great musical milestones are presented here in this great best of collection. We start off with her very first singles THINK I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU and I WANNA LOVE YOU FOREVER. The listener will be reminded of the range and passion Jessica possesses. I wish they had included the album cut HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW. Her third cd IN THIS SKIN was her first full mainstream release. She was with Nick at the time, had a reality tv show and was riding success on many levels. WITH YOU, the first single here, proved to be one of her best - fun, playful with great vocals. The cd was reissued with the addition of two pop classics ANGELS and TAKE MY BREATH AWAY. Both rode the airwaves high. With the divorce I think much of her best music emerged. I BELONG TO ME is a heartfelt ballad showing her range and sung with great conviction. A PUBLIC AFFAIR and YOU SPIN ME ROUND came next and showed that drama and sadness couldn't bring Jessica down. A PUBLIC AFFAIR was a determined, moving forward cd and both tracks are superb dance tracks. Many dissed her country attempt but her reading of REMEMBER THAT is amazing and the title track DO YOU KNOW sung with Dolly Parton and COME ON OVER show just how comfortable she is with many genres. Other highlights are IRRESISTIBLE and A LITTLE BIT.

Finally Jessica Simpson fans are given a great collection of her best work. It is remastered for perfect sound and truly displays her range, emotive ability and true artistry. Highly recommended.

I recently got this cd for my birthday from my mother. She knew I'm a huge fan of Jessica Simpson so she knew I would want to add this CD to my music collection. This cd is amazing! A must have and it would make a great Christmas or birthday gift!!

If you have waited for many years for a greatest hits by Jessica Simpson, well now there's one from Sony's playlist series. This is probably Sony's best entry in there playlist series, since most of their other artists have released Greatest Hits already. You get 14 "newly remastered" tunes that really capture Jessica's 10 years in the music industry. From Jessica's debut "I wanna love you Forever" to "Remember That", the album has all of Jessica's famous tunes including "Irresistible", "With You", "These Boots Are Made For Walking" and "I Belong To Me". Get this album if you have been a long time fan of Jessica or your just experiencing her for the first time!

I love Jessica Simpson she is a great singer. These are some of her best songs and I love all of them. I like much more as a pop singer though she still sounds great as a country singer. Jessica is not the worst singer of all time.

Jessica Simpson has not yet released a greatest hits CD. This CD does it for her. All her singles, except for "Where You Are" (Sweet Kisses) her duet with ex hubby Nick Lachey and "Sweetest Sin" (In This Skin) her first single off of Skin are on this disc. The price is good too. I'm hoping that playlist will do a collection of Jewel's hits soon. She has been releasing CDs since 1994 or 1995 and has yet to put out any greatest hits or singles collections.

Update: You can order the import version titled: The Collection Jessica Simpson for the same price or less $$. This came out 1 month after Playlist's version, both are by Sony. The Collection has 2 more tracks on it, "Sweetest Sin" which is her 1st single off of In This Skin (single/video version) and "When You Told Me You Loved Me" off of Irresistible, which was never a single but is still a great song.
