Review - Product Description
Independent artist Ingrid Michaelson's 2008 release Be Ok, a benefit album that will include previously unreleased songs, demos, covers and live recordings in addition to the title track (produced by Stacy Jones and Bill Lefler - Ronnie Day, Meg & Dia, Plain White T's). A portion of the proceeds will go to Stand Up To Cancer, an organization created to urgently move cancer research forward with the help of the public. She embarks on a national headlining "Be Ok" tour in late October 2008 and she designed a "Be Ok" necklace to be sold at all tour stops and online, donating all proceeds to SU2C. Her new song "Be Ok" and its video are part of the SU2C campaign.

- Music that speaks to your soul

I've been a fan of Ingrid's for over a year now, and I have to say this is her best album yet!!!! The perfect blend of original songs, live recordings, and covers, this CD is a must have for any Ingrid fan or follower of the "coffeehouse" genre. Ingrid's songs are both healing and inspiring. Out of all of her great songs, my favorite tracks are "The Chain", "Lady in Spain", and "Keep Breathing". This CD is also a small taste of the fun and incredible experience of seeing Ingrid live in concert. Get yourself a copy today, and buy it as a gift for others, as a portion of the proceeds go to a great cause, Stand Up to Cancer. And don't miss the chance to see her live in concert!!!! Also be sure to check out the new holiday CD

which features an original duet of Ingrid with another favorite, Sara Bareilles, called "Winter Song". A portion of that album's sales goes directly to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

- This CD is more than OK. Check it out!!!

This is Ingrid's best album yet!!!! The perfect blend of original songs, live recordings, and covers, this CD is a must have for any Ingrid fan. Ingrid's songs are both inspirational and moving. The best songs on the CD are "The Chain" and "Keep Breathing". Get yourself a copy today, and know that a portion of the proceeds goes to Stand Up to Cancer. I have seen Ingrid in concert and it was so much fun. She had me laughing in between every song. I would highly recommend checking out her Be OK tour when she is in your area. I promise you won't regret it. Make sure to get this CD and Boys and Girls. They are both wonderful.

- Another sucess

A perfect follow up to Girls and Boys, Be Ok blends a snappy beat with heart felt lyrics that will keep your toe tapping and a song in your head.

Each song tells a story...it's listen.

- Awesome!

This album is great. Ingrid always manages to create catchy melodies with thoughtful, sweet lyrics. This album is more of a B-Sides record than a traditional full-length, just to let listeners know. I can't wait for an official studio recording for "The Chain" because it's one of my favorite songs from Ingrid. The live version which appears on this album is still gorgeous, though. My other favorite track on this record is "Giving Up." It's such a sweet song.

Get this album! Some of the proceeds go to the Stand Up 2 Cancer fund, which is awesome.

- More awesome Ingrid

My only complaint about the CD is it was still in a limited number of stores. I went to 3 or 4 stores on the release day before I found one that carried it. However, it was well worth the traveling. Lady in Spain and The Chain are my two favorites, but with Ingrid's talent, the whole album is a treat just like her live performances.
