- The First and the Best of Gwar Videos

"Live from Antarctica" was the first video offering from the scumdogs and, in my opinion, the best concert video they have released thusfar. All the tunes are from their first two CDs and the special effects are kept to a somewhat minimum. I originally bought this on VHS before I even owned the "Scumdogs of the Universe" cd (almost 14 years ago). The show is absolutely hilarious (as they all are) and you don't have all the scene jumping as you see on "big concert production" DVDs. This is simply a great early GWAR show that is still fun to watch over and over. If I were to own only one of GWAR's DVDs it would be this one.

- aural assault

Finally, the most decadent American rock stars (who havent OD'ed, yet) come to DVD with a blistering early show. GWAR is THE answer to the 1980s. Violence, hate, filth, murder... just the tip of the Anarctic iceberg. This DVD allows you to sit, in the comfort of your own home, on your couch, making out with your hand for hours as GWAR tears you apart...aurally.

- The most gruesome but satisfying video ever

I love this video....My aunt actually gave me a copy of this when i was in fifth grade almost 15 years ago....Much props to Amazon for having it available cuz it's brought back so many great memories. I've been a Gwar fan ever since, but I've only got the Scumdogs of the Universe album.

- Ok

This is some older footage of gwar, so the stage show isn't quite as good as it is now. The sound quality is descent. In all, if you're a gwar fan you'll dig this video.
