Review - Product Description
The Second NON-LP (At Time of Release) Song from the Media Attention Grabbing Singer Has Generated It's Share of Controversy, Reflecting Michael's Views on Tony Blair's Relationship with George W. Bush. Although the Single is Satirical, "Shoot the Dog" Has an Unforgettable and Strangely Familiar Background....it's Based on a Sample from the Human League's "Love Action"!

- Unfortunately misunderstood by most

If only people actually listen to the lyrics, and see George Michael's comments on his official web site, this song will be more appreciated. Many people just rush into the judgment. Rare for George Michael to make such an obvious political song, so I was very intrigued. He also continues to produce cross over between funk and disco, almost remind you of Prince. If you liked early George Michael songs, you will appreciate this song. I don't really care for remixes, but the video is worth it. I can't wait for his new album.

- Enjoy this song

Don't let the media tell you what you should think about George Michael or his new hit record. If you buy it, you will love the quality of the recording and production of this uptempo song of Mr. Michael. I personaly think the video ( included on this CD-single ) is briliant ! I cannot believe people do not see the humor in it. Song 2 on this single ( de moogymen remix ) is a real trance classic. His new album will be out in november / december, and it will be briliant..... he never let us down so far.

- Talk about a cool single!

Even if you DON'T agree with George Michael's leftist attitude in the lyrics--and trust me, I don't at all--the music itself is still guaranteed to be wonderful. Even cooler, it has a remix (track 3) which actually threatens to blow away the original song!

All of which makes me even more anxious for George's upcoming album. What can I say? I don't agree with his personal attitudes--but musically, he's a genius who has never let me down yet.
