The 'Red Hot' Burrito Brothers - this incarnation of the Flying Burrito Bros (with Sneaky Pete, Joel Scott Hill, Gib Guilbeau and ex-Byrds Gene Parsons and Chris Ethridge) operated from Mendocino, CA, 1974-76. This album was supposed to be released in 1975 but got lost. Until it was unearthed by Gib Guilbeau in 2002. The Flying Burrito Brothers helped forge the connection between rock and country, and with their 1969 debut album, The Gilded Palace of Sin, they virtually invented the blueprint for country-rock.
